Local Repair and Maintenance companies to be trialled by LBHF Housing.
Following our Meet the Buyer event with buyers from LBHF attending last month, H&FBrill4Biz Supply Chain helped to set up follow up meetings with 20 of the companies previously met which took place between 5-11 October. The purpose of the meetings was to obtain pre qualification information from them such as insurances, certificates, accreditation, Reference sites etc with a view to giving most of them a property to carry out work on in the near future such as voids, adaptations, decoration, mechanical & electrical maintenance, fire protection, house conversion plans. Subject to the necessary quality of their work, they will then be used by the Council on a more regular basis. The Council needs the companies to have CHAS or Constructionline Health & Safety accreditation. H&FBrill4Biz Supply Chain will be helping those that need it to get their accreditation quickly. The local companies included Electrical contractors, Heating engineers, Building and refurbishment companies, Decorators, Architects, Carpentry and Joinery companies, Tiling specialists, and Rapid response repair and maintenance companies, skip hire and waste management.”
