Nu-Electrics Ltd is a small West London based electrical contracting company founded by Chris Scranney in 2007 which is fully NICEIC compliant. They are increasingly moving into commercial work and have done full electrical installations for housing developers such as Town & Counties and London & District Properties Ltd on their smaller developments as well as rewiring of catering and retail outlets.
Chris has obtained a CHAS accreditation as a result of previous Local Supply Chain initiatives and was one of the first to sign up to HFBrill4Biz Supply Chain programme. Since then, he has attended our workshops with Westfield, on improving accreditation and winning work from main contractors as well as the Meet the Buyer event and a Meet Mitie day set up for a number of trades that this buyer was seeking to engage with.
As a direct result of meeting Regal Homes at the Meet the Buyer, Nu-Electric met with them and were subsequently awarded a Temporary Electrics package on their Sinclair Road housing development, worth £10,000 initially, but with scope for their remit to be expanded. They have also quoted for & been awarded 2 projects for Westfield facilities totalling £11,500 & are currently tendering for a much larger project at Westfield for BOH lighting upgrades. Additionally Nu Electrics have been awarded a temporary electrics contract with Mitie valued at £7000 & are due to start imminently
“Hammersmith & Fulham’s Supply Chain programme has been brilliant for us and has translated into immediate opportunities and actual contracts as well as giving us a lot of good advice. My only worry is that we may win too much work all at once!” Chris Scranney, Director and Founder of Nu-Electrics Ltd
